Free From All The 'White Noise'...
So much of our lives is led online nowadays, with social media platforms hitting us in the face every time you pick up your phone, and email in-boxes overflowing because you just happened to visit a site and to progress into it needed to leave your email address.
I don't know about you but the 'white noise' from our online lives is deafening. Once upon a time, 'white noise' was something from the realm of television but in the new millennium it is so much more.
When I open Instagram I have the sound turned off because every second item popping up in my feed seems to be a reel, usually accompanied by loud music. Or annoying voices. Or music/voices/and people twerking. It's all designed to sell you the dream of whatever it is that you're looking for - if indeed you know what that is, of course.
Facebook, which is owned by Meta, the same company that owns Instagram, is also heading in this direction, which I find a little annoying.
So I'd like to welcome you to Bespoke By Bonthuys, a quiet place free of 'white noise.' There's no loud music. No annoying voices. Definitely no twerking! Similarly, there are no plunging necklines or ultra-short skirts on display, you won't see my mouth open catching flies as I try to look "cool", and you won't be dodging the popping of champagne corks either as you swing by my gallery. It's just not me.
If you like 'white noise' then obviously, this quiet place here is not likely to interest you. And that's okay. I respect that not everyone feels the same way about 'white noise' that I do. But if you are looking for a quiet place, a quiet celebrant who gets on with the job without being too loud, too rude, or too annoying, then you've found that here.
Similarly, I ensure that there's no 'white noise' In my bespoke ceremonies, which are custom-designed to suit the needs of my clients, While there may be the occasional cheer from the guests or cries of delight when a tiny flower girl steals the show on her way down the aisle, there won't be anything else that detracts attention from the couple getting married.
Everyone's attention needs to be on the couple, enjoying the moment with them. And hopefully enjoying the words that help that couple tie the knot.
You won't hear me rubbishing the words of poetry that you've chosen for a reading in your ceremony, or 'calling bullshit' on the sentiments expressed within. As a writer myself, I know the heartfelt efforts that creators make in order to create words on paper. Not everyone can do this and it hurts me when I see Instagram reels and wedding industry videos dissecting readings or other elements of ceremony and calling them 'crap'. It's insulting to the couple, too, who chose those inclusions for their ceremony.
So if you want a free-from-white-noise zone with your ceremony, look no further. I would be delighted to help you achieve this.
Come into my quiet space and let's chat.
Cat lover, coffee connoisseur, and 24/7 creative.
